Dr. Laurie Yates has a comprehensive background in both industry and academia, most recently as a Visiting Professor in Management at Oregon Institute of Technology. Currently, she is the Director of Accreditation at the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE).
A native of the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Yates holds a Doctor of Management from George Fox University and an MBA from the University of Oregon. She presents at national and international academic conferences in her areas of expertise which include leadership, management, ethics, organizational behavior, and business education. She also actively engages in research and scholarship, publishing in a variety of peer reviewed journals such as the International Leadership Journal, the Western Journal of Human Resource Management, and the Journal of Values-Based Leadership. She is currently working on her next project, Leading in a Disruptive World: Discovering Your Adaptive DNA, a book about organic leadership in an upside-down world.
